TNC Action Memo - Spring 2022

We all recognize that the world needs some healing, so we’re out to change the climate conversation from dire to doable. This Spring, The Nature Conservancy is launching a campaign to connect people who may feel at a loss for ideas to positive actions for a healthier planet. There are lots of ways to tackle the climate and biodiversity crises and our hope is to make it easier for people to find their path. As one way to get involved, we invite you to celebrate Earth Day by joining us for live and online events on April 21 & 22.

Every like, share, and tweet has an impact. We thank you for your support!

Earth Day Manifesto

Earth Day.

It’s not just another day on the calendar.

It’s a cause. A community.

A calling —for us to come together.

To create the world we all want.

The world is ever-changing and often chaotic

But we can do better than simply hoping for the best.

It’s our mission to inspire, educate, mobilize, motivate and coordinate.

It’s our mantra to observe Earth Day, every day.

And we’re calling those of you who share our passion,

Our commitment, and our responsibility to perpetuate progress.

This Earth Day,

Let’s not just celebrate together.

Let’s Planet Together.

Let's Planet Together

Join us for a live and online event that will mix entertainment and inspiration, featuring people from across the globe who are making every day an Earth Day. From restoring the Amazon and brewing beer sustainably to tracking moose migrations and revitalizing coral reefs, these everyday heroes will underline how nature's health is our health and how, together, we have the power to create a thriving future.

Friday, April 22 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. PST

Plant a Billion Trees - Gift a Tree

This Valentine’s Day, we asked folks to swap the traditional flowers and chocolates for the gift of trees via our Plant a Billion Trees campaign. With your support, the campaign brought significant visibility to TNC, including some great stories in People, US Weekly, and Daily Mail.

Mother's Day is May 8

Honor a special mother in your life with the gift of trees. Contact Lauren Mitte Wood at lauren@enfieldroad.com.

When you give the gift of trees (for any occasion!), you help protect and restore forests around the globe – and, we’ll send a special, personalized e-postcard message to your gift-ee too. Our next big campaign will be around Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 8), so please reach out to Lauren Mitte Wood (lauren@enfieldroad.com) if you are interested in honoring a special Mother by giving the gift of trees.
