Our hearts go out to all affected by the Hawai'i wildfires
Wildfires destroyed Lahaina, a vibrant coastal community on Maui, and brushfires in other parts of Maui and in Kaʻū and Kohala on Hawaiʻi Island burned thousands of acres. Our team is actively monitoring the fires and, so far, all Nature Conservancy staff on both islands are safe and our facilities and preserves have not been impacted. You can donate to the recovery effort below.
The Sagebrush Sea is Vanishing
The sagebrush sea, 150 million acres of complex grasses, shrubs and rare species, has dwindled to half its historical range. To protect what remains, TNC has launched the Sagebrush Sea Program.
