Red maples are aptly named, showing a bit of red year round, with red leaf buds in winter, red flowers in spring and bright red leaves in the fall.

An in-demand session musician who has played on more than 2,000 albums, Douglas has largely defined the dobro’s sound in modern music through his work with artists ranging from Emmylou Harris to Elvis Costello and as a member of Alison Krauss’s band, Union Station.
