Biography

Idil coordinates the impact and financial reporting on NatureVest’s closed impact portfolio and provides support to the related entities management and governance process.

Idil is part of the NatureVest Impact Management team. The team is working towards the following key objectives:

  • Establishing minimum standards for investments to avoid negative environmental impacts
  • Identifying opportunities for investments to deliver impact alongside returns
  • Advising on best practices for land and water management
  • Measuring climate and biodiversity outcomes

    • Idil is currently focused on the following:

  • Serving as corporate secretary to NatureVest’s related entities and supporting their management
  • Coordinating NatureVest’s impact and financial reporting
  • Supporting the Deal Review Committee and the governance process

    • Prior to joining NatureVest, Idil worked as an anthropologist and later spent four years in finance and communications.

    Outside of TNC, Idil enjoys traveling, cooking, and photography. She is an avid reader, and is constantly searching for the best coffee shop in the DC area, to relax and enjoy a few chapters.
