—Legacy Journeys Traveler
Due to popular demand, the Legacy Journeys team employs a streamlined and equitable registration process to fill Legacy Journeys departures. We invite you to submit your interest in our exciting 2027 trips, now through Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT, using the online Journeys Interest Form.
Instructions
- Legacy Club members looking to travel with TNC in 2027 must submit a Journeys Interest Form.
The date and time you submit your Trip Interest Form will not impact your chance of being added to a journey, as long as you do so by the September 17 deadline.
- The Journeys Interest Form will allow Legacy Club members (and up to one guest) to select up to three trips of interest and rank them in order of preference.
Note: Travelers will only be assigned to one Legacy Journey per year to ensure as many members as possible have the opportunity to participate in a trip.
- After the September 17 deadline, a randomized selection process will be used to place travelers on trips, taking into account their ranked destination preference(s).
Note: You may be assigned to your second- or third-choice destination if your first choice is already full.
- If the randomized selection process does not place you on one of your chosen departures, you will be added to the waitlist for each trip of interest.
If you have any questions about 2027 Legacy Journeys departures or the registration process, contact Erin Crowther, TNC's Legacy Journeys travel manager, at LegacyJourneys@tnc.org or (317) 829-1873.

The purchase of travel insurance is required to participate in the 2027 Legacy Journey to Churchill, Canada.
While travel insurance is not required for the other 2027 departures, TNC always strongly recommends purchasing it for our trips. When registering, ask the travel operator for more information about trip insurance.
-
When considering whether a trip is right for you, review the itinerary and activities involved. Travelers should be able to walk as many as three miles per day over uneven terrain with some elevation gain. Some trips may include activities such as boating, snorkeling or swimming. Expect to be outdoors from four to eight hours on most days. A range of weather conditions is possible during each trip. If you do not wish to participate in a specific activity, discuss this with the tour operator prior to the trip, and, if possible, accommodations will be made. If you have any questions about whether a trip is right for you, contact LegacyJourneys@tnc.org or call 317-829-1873.
