The Butler Sanctuary’s rugged outcrops and boulder-strewn hills provide a foundation for deciduous forests, flowing streams and swamps teeming with flora and fauna.

The Eugene and Agnes Meyer Nature Preserve

Numerous native wildflowers are found throughout the forested system known for its exceptional vernal pools.

Pawling Nature Reserve

Explore diverse natural communities, including Duell Hollow Brook cascading down the rocks, The Appalachian Trail, and stunning views of Great Swamp and Harlem Valley.

Roger Perry Memorial Preserve

Eroding white sands shift between the trunks of red cedars and form unique wetland communities in the valley areas. Once known as the White Sands of Dover, this site offers great views into Connecticut and Massachusetts.
