Prior to joining TNC, Karen worked as a policy analyst with the U.S. Climate Alliance at the United Nations Foundation in Washington, D.C. She also spent many years working seasonally at the Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset, teaching outdoor education and leading kayaking, canoeing and hiking expeditions across the state.
