The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Nevada is sponsoring TEDxLasVegas 2025, taking place from April 4-6 at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center in Las Vegas. TEDx is known for independently organized and community-driven gatherings that share innovative ideas through live speakers and recorded talks, embodying the belief that “ideas change everything.” This year's theme, "At the Crossroads," highlights the reality that social issues are interconnected, forming a complex web of challenges and opportunities. The event will emphasize the importance of embracing these intersections and working together as a community to create a better future for all.
“The Nature Conservancy in Nevada is excited to be part of the inaugural TEDxLasVegas,” said Mauricia Baca, Nevada State Director for The Nature Conservancy. “This year’s theme of connection is embodied in the work that we do. For more than 40 years, we have protected and restored important lands and waters which support local economies and improve the overall quality of life for Nevadans. By sponsoring this event, we hope to inspire more people to join us in connecting with one another and caring for the environment that sustains us all.”
TEDxLasVegas 2025 will offer a stage for people to present bold ideas that inspire meaningful action. Organizers announced a lineup of over a dozen speakers and performers which include educators, climate scientists, an immigration lawyer, and former professional athletes who will address topics ranging from climate change and biodiversity to sustainable food systems and technological advancements.
The Nature Conservancy invites everyone to join this exciting event and the movement toward a more sustainable and resilient future. The Main talks will be held on Saturday, April 5, with additional tours and curated conversations happening on the surrounding days.
