Volunteer Overview

Join the Hoosier Hikers Council on each third Saturday for a day in the woods!  We will continue work on the new trail at TNC's Green's Bluff Nature Preserve. When finished, this five plus mile loop trail will traverse shaded woodlands and open fields, and it will highlight streams, waterfalls, rock formations and pollinator plantings.

Additional Details

  • No experience needed.
  • All tools and instructions are provided.
  • The terrain here is moderate and we will be off trail and working in hilly areas.
  • Volunteers should be comfortable with moderate to strenuous physical activity including bending, digging, and raking.
  • Please come prepared with drinking water, close-toed shoes, and weather-appropriate layers.
