Do you love wildlife? Do you love ice cream? Then come to The Nature Conservancy’s Bobcat Bonanza! Our free public event celebrates New Jersey’s last remaining wild felines—Lynx rufus, also known as bobcats—and the lands they depend on.
Join us outdoors on the grounds of the Kay Center in Chester for a complimentary ice cream lunch and lots of fun activities:
- Free ice cream lunch from noon-2 p.m. with bobcat-themed flavors and sundaes from Chester’s own Cherry on Top
- Themed snacks and seltzers
- Live banjo and guitar with multi-talented Montclair musician Richard Stillman
- Face painting by The House of Art
- Bobcat selfie station with fantastic props
- Raffle (21+) winners every hour
- Wildlife-themed cornhole and scavenger hunt
- Swag bag giveaways
- Education stations
- Bobcat Alley wildlife photography display
No registration or RSVP needed. Parking and quantities are limited; carpooling and early arrival are appreciated. We hope you can join us for this exciting event!
