Event Overview

Join The Nature Conservancy staff at Markham Shkode Prairies on most Fridays and every third Saturday from now through November 2026 on a guided bird walk at Paintbrush Prairie. All ages are welcome.

Location: Paintbrush Prairie, 3454 W. 155th St., Markham, Illinois

Duration/difficulty: Roughly one hour, easy to moderate

Start time: 8:30 a.m.

August dates: 21, 28

September dates: 4, 11, 19, 25

October dates: 2, 9, 17, 23, 30

November dates: 6, 13, 21
