Event Overview

Access a portion of Emiquon typically closed to the public and learn about The Nature Conservancy's one-of-a-kind water control structure, called "Ahsapa," which signifies "web" in the native language of the Myaamia. You'll also learn about the science that guides wetland management, the history of Emiquon and how the project contributes to the health of the Illinois River.
