Grant is the conservation strategy manager for the Sustainable Water Impact Fund (SWIF). His work focuses on maximizing the fund’s ability to protect and restore nature across its investments in sustainable land and water assets. He also leads the product development of innovative spatial and data management tools used to inform and rigorously evaluate conservation priorities and outcomes. Grant joined TNC in 2017 and prior to his role with the SWIF served as the Executive Coordinator for the Conservancy’s Executive Director of California. Grant began his career as a wildlife biologist, reintroducing endangered species to the wild in his native state of Arizona. He holds a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University.
