Nature is the fantastic factory that makes the building blocks of all our lives—food, drinking water, the stuff we own, and the air we breathe. That’s why The Nature Conservancy and its 550 scientists have created Nature Lab: to help students learn the science behind how nature works for us and how we can help keep it running strong.
New Virtual Field Trip
Made possible with support from Carrier
The conservation community relies heavily on volunteers to not only restore natural areas, but to help gauge the success of restoration efforts. Volunteers team up with experienced stewards and scientists to monitor the recovery of native habitats, or to record data on rare species of wildflowers, butterflies and other wildlife. But can students get involved? In fact, they can! Learn all about citizen science!
We are proud to partner with the Bezos Family Foundation in inviting students to become “art-ivists” and design posters that amplify the messages they care about. For every artwork you create between now and June 3, 2022, the Bezos Family Foundation will make a donation to help tackle critical issues.
