Community Beaver Dam Analog (BDA) Repair Day

Location: Red Canyon Ranch

Meet to carpool at Bomgaars at 8:30 (275 Grandview Dr., Lander, WY 82520).

Join The Nature Conservancy for some wet meadow restoration work at the historic Red Canyon Ranch. We will be performing maintenance and repairs to existing beaver dam analog (BDA) structures and work in-stream with willow branches, sod and mud.

Volunteer should meet in the Bomgaars parking lot (275 Grandview Dr.) at 8:30 a.m. to carpool to Red Canyon. We will leave promptly at 8:40am. Please bring work gloves, eye protection (sunglasses OK), work shoes, clothing layers, and waders and wading boots if you have them (although wet wading may be pleasant). Please leave your dogs at home.
