Volunteer Overview

This 14,000-acre preserve east of Prineville harbors ancient junipers, an outstanding diversity of bunch grasses and colorful earth formations.

During this program, The Nature Conservancy's staff will guide you on a 2-3 mile hike with an opportunity to learn about the plants and animals that make Juniper Hills home, as well as information about TNC’s work at this special place. We will meet at the Juniper Hills barn and carpool to other locations.

Please note we’ll be hiking on uneven terrain, so the footing is variable. Participants must be physically fit. Sign up to participate today!
