Volunteer Overview

Join The Nature Conservancy in Delaware for a hands-on volunteer workday!

Help care for Bullseye Ferry Landing, an important Delaware landscape, by removing litter along nearby roadsides and maintaining protective tree tubes that support the growth of young native trees.

This is a rare opportunity to visit a preserve that is typically closed to the public!

Removing trash helps protect wildlife and waterways, while maintaining tree tubes ensures newly planted trees have the best chance to thrive and provide habitat, improve water quality and strengthen local ecosystems for years to come.

What to Bring:

  • Work gloves (if available)
  • Water bottle
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Sun protection

All necessary tools and supplies will be provided.
