Mt. Teneriffe Preserve is a 170-acre forest in Milton that contains some notable rare plant species. The preserve offers 1.6 miles of trail, including a 1-mile loop trail. This preserve is great to visit year-round as it offers beautiful views and interesting woodlands. It is home to a globally rare orchid, the small whorled pogonia.

From Route 125 in Milton, turn left (West) onto Teneriffe Road (one mile north of Cumberland Farms). Travel 1.2 miles and pass under the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16). Parking is accommodated by a small, nearly level, pullover on the right. The preserve continues northwest along Teneriffe Road for 3,624 feet.
