Event Overview

Celebrate National Trails Day at Hickory Ridge Preserve, site of The Nature Conservancy’s first multi-use trail in New York. Designed for mountain bikers, hikers and runners, there are nearly 7 miles of trails offered for beginner, intermediate and advanced visitors. The 2.8 miles of beginner trails are also adaptive mountain bike friendly.

  • 11 a.m.: Meet at the parking lot for a guided hike featuring the best of the easiest trails.
  • 11:30 a.m.: Meet at the parking lot for a guided mountain bike ride featuring the best of the easiest trails.
  • 12–12:30 p.m.: Guided hikes/bikes end and meet back at the trailhead. Cold drinks and snacks will be available.

The Nature Conservancy will have an informational table at the event alongside event partners: Genesee Regional Off-Road Cyclists (GROC), Naples Trail Collective and the Finger Lakes Trail Conference.

This is an all-ages event. Please help us with our planning by pre-registering.

Entry is first-come first-served and not guaranteed with registration. In the event of rain, this event will be cancelled. Register to receive notifications and event updates.
