Emiquon 25th Anniversary Ridge Hike

Event Overview

TNC and Therkildsen Field Station staff will lead a hike to the top of the ridge overlooking Emiquon Preserve and Emiquon National Wildlife Refuge. Learn about the history and restoration of the preserve, cultural history of the area and enjoy exceptional views of this portion of the Illinois River valley.

LOGISTICS

Please arrive to the field station at 11316 N. Prairie Road, Lewistown. Bringing sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, proper hiking shoes and drinking water is strongly recommended.
