Event Overview

Calling all curious nature lovers!

There is nature all around us, even in our cities. Knowing what species are here and where they are helps us study and protect them.

From April 26 - 29, Colorado will join over 400 global cities for the City Nature Challenge, an annual competition to observe and record plant, fungi and wildlife species at your home, school or a local or state park.

By participating in the City Nature Challenge, not only do you learn more about local nature, but you can also make our urban areas a better place – for you and other species.

Click here to find more opportunities on the Front Range to participate in the City Nature Challenge! We will be updating this page throughout the month of April with local events in your community.
