Biography

Thomas Brzostowski is the Director of Strategic Development for The Nature Conservancy's Asia Pacific region. Tom co-leads Asia Pacific philanthropy leadership responsibilities and overarching strategy to maximize TNC's conservation impact in nine countries and territories across the region.

Tom is a philanthropy professional with a background in science and more than 13 years of experience working for international conservation organizations. His passion lies in partnering with philanthropists, foundations, companies, and impact investors to achieve mutual goals and aspirations to address the global biodiversity and climate crises and build a future where both people and nature thrive.

Tom joined TNC in 2016 as the Associate Director of Development for Europe based in London before moving to New Zealand in 2018 to take up the role of Director of Development until 2021. Before TNC, Tom served in several senior philanthropy roles at WWF-UK as well as an Executive Advisor to the Chief Executive.

Tom is originally from the UK but lives in New Zealand with his wife and three children. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (Honours) from Royal Holloway, University of London.
