Rowan develops urban green infrastructure opportunities for the Global Cities program of The Nature Conservancy. Previously he worked for 14 years planning and designing integrated water infrastructure at regional, city and site scales for the international design firms Arup and AECOM. Rowan has worked across the globe including extensive experience in North America, Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He holds a MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering, a BS in Conservation and Resource Studies, and a BA in Geography, all from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a professional engineer (PE) in California, a Chartered Scientist (CSci) through the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management in the UK and a registered Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
