Michelle Tetreault is the Associate General Counsel for Corporate Services and is responsible for overseeing TNC’s impact investment, government relations, development, marketing, public funding and human resources departments. Michelle began her career with TNC in 2004 and counseled and trained the Colorado and Wyoming business units on a range of legal matters including fee and conservation easement purchase and sales, conservation easement monitoring and compliance, leasing, government grants, and general corporate and non-profit governance issues.  Prior to joining TNC, Michelle worked in private practice for Winston & Strawn LLP as part of its Real Estate practice group, and Hunton & Williams LLLP as part of its Real Estate, Finance and Development Team.  Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and Juris Doctor from the William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law and is a member of the Virginia, Colorado, and Washington DC Bars.
