Biography
Meg Connerton began her career with The Nature Conservancy in 1999. In her current role as Director of Operations and Culture for TNC in Massachusetts, she leads high-level administration strategy, including organizational development, compliance and business processes and state-wide facility management.
Meg also drives the people and culture initiatives, helping to build and support strong, successful teams, navigate change and support an inclusive working environment. A natural connector, Meg enjoys coaching and developing emerging professionals and designing meetings and events that foster rapport and alignment.
Meg is an accredited iEQ9 Enneagram coach, leads the Northeast Directors of Operations Network and co-chairs TNC’s Directors of Finance and Operations Cabinet. She is a seasoned facilitator and a twice-over TNC Coda Fellow. Meg has also managed several organization-wide programs and projects, including helping establish TNC programs in Panama and the Bahamas and serving a three-year term as director of operations for TNC in Maine and Massachusetts.
Meg earned her B.S. in environmental affairs from the University of New Hampshire. Beyond TNC, Meg serves on the Board of a local Montessori school and volunteers as a farm hand at Spencer Peirce Little Farm, a colonial Historic New England property. In her free time, Meg can be found in the cold waters of the Atlantic or exploring the beaches, farms and woods of the North Shore.
