Lucy is part of TNC Colorado’s Conservation Science and Planning Team, and frequently collaborates with the team’s fellow GIS practitioners to understand and maintain accurate and useful data. Lucy also participates in TNC Colorado’s DEI Committee, Organizational Health and Culture Committee, and Fun Committee.
Prior to TNC, Lucy stewarded conservation easements, monitored rare plants, managed a local restaurant, and produced Solutions Journalism. Lucy studied human geography, journalism and interdisciplinary writing at the University of Colorado Boulder. When not working for TNC, Lucy volunteers as an interpretive naturalist for Boulder County Parks and Open Space. A lifelong Coloradan, Lucy participates in the state’s human and non-human communities through hiking, camping, climbing, gardening, and roller skating.
