Biography
Jacqueline Nen is the Country Director of The Nature Conservancy’s Papua New Guinea program, where she leads a team focused on land and marine conservation initiatives that are directly linked to sustainable economic development. Driven by dual passions for economic empowerment and gender equity, Nen most recently served as Community Development Manager at Porgera Joint Venture, where she worked with rural villages impacted by mining operations by establishing new programs that advance sustainable livelihoods and improve food security and freshwater access. A graduate of the University of Papua New Guinea, Nen grew up in Papua New Guinea’s Southern Highlands Province and lives in Port Moresby.
