Biography

As Director for Program Delivery at The Nature Conservancy’s Africa program, Grenville leads a dynamic team of seven Country Directors working to address the interconnected crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. His focus is on driving impactful solutions that support the well-being of both people and nature across Africa.

With over 25 years of experience in management consulting and global development, Grenville has successfully delivered large-scale transformation programs across the public, private and nonprofit sectors. His leadership roles include serving as Vice President Asia at Compassion International, Vice President Strategy and Innovation at World Vision International and Country Director in Myanmar and Angola. A recognized expert in organizational leadership, strategic planning and program delivery, Grenville brings a wealth of knowledge to TNC's mission.

Grenville holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science in International Development Management from The Open University. He has also completed executive education in Strategic Marketing at the London School of Business & Finance, Governance as Leadership at Harvard University and Digital Business Strategies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

When Grenville isn’t shaping the future of conservation, he enjoys exploring Africa’s incredible landscapes and connecting with communities dedicated to preserving the continent’s natural heritage.
