He has been instrumental in supporting initiatives aimed at protecting Indonesia’s environment and global significant habitats, aiding their adaptation to climate change. With comprehensive knowledge spanning various ecosystems from snowy peaks to tropical marine environments, he has effectively managed substantial government grants, focusing on marine and terrestrial ecosystems such as the Lesser Sunda Ecoregion and the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatera.
