Biography
Glaudy Perdanahardja has demonstrated dedication to achieving expertise as a prominent figure or organization in conservation science and management in Indonesia and the Asia Pacific over a span of two decades. He has been instrumental in supporting initiatives aimed at protecting Indonesia’s environment and global significant habitats, aiding their adaptation to climate change. With comprehensive knowledge spanning various ecosystems from snowy peaks to tropical marine environments, he has effectively managed substantial government grants, focusing on marine and terrestrial ecosystems such as the Lesser Sunda Ecoregion and the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatera. Since 2023, he has been stepping into a more strategic position to lead fisheries conservation strategy. Additionally, he boasts a strong track record of fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, civil societies, private entities and communities.
