Biography
Eric has been responsible for some of TNC’s largest and most ambitious conservation projects. During his 25 years in the field, Eric has originated and closed more than 200 conservation deals involving innovative public and private financing strategies. After a career as an independent market maker on the trading floors of Chicago, Eric secured an MS degree in Natural Resource Management and, recently, completed the Impact Investment Programme at Oxford University’s Saїd Business School. In 2018, Eric helped to establish The Carbon Endowment (TCE) and Powering Africa Recharging Conservation (PARC) to advance NatureVest’s work in addressing climate change through on-the-ground transactions. Eric lives in Bozeman, Montana, where he founded the Crosscut Mountain Sports Center and serves as volunteer board chair.
