Youth Engagement

GLOBE Internship Program

The Nature Conservancy offers sophisticated and immersive internships to college students and recent graduates.

Growing Leaders on Behalf of the Environment or GLOBE prepares young professionals for successful careers in the environmental workforce by bridging the gap between academics and real-world STEM work, encouraging innovation, and assisting in professional development.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Internship Experience

We recruit individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences for a internship from June to August. The program matches qualified and enthusiastic undergraduate, graduate, and recent graduates with an internship suited to their area of study.

Interns begin the program with an orientation in which leaders from The Nature Conservancy and students come together to share educational, professional, and career experiences. This orientation and the internship are opportunities to build lifelong friendships and professional contacts.

Our goal is to ensure that each intern has the finest experience, a committed mentor, and a relevant project that provides each intern with additional skills and training that will help them begin their conservation career path.
