Protecting and Conserving the Tundra

Covering roughly 10% of Earth’s surface, the tundra plays a vital role in our lives. As the coldest biome, the tundra helps regulate the temperature of the planet. Acting as a carbon sink, the tundra absorbs carbon dioxide from the environment and helps to counteract the harmful effects of carbon emissions.

The Tundra Is at Risk

However, the tundra is changing dramatically due to climate change, threatening to harm not only the rich biodiversity in the region, but also the entire planet. But it's not too late to change course.

Teaming Up To Protect Our Planet

The Nature Conservancy and Peek Kids are teaming up to help restore nature for our kids and grandkids. This year, Peek Kids is donating $10,000 to support TNC’s mission to protect and restore our planet. Each season, Peek is releasing a curated collection inspired by nature available at Peekkids.com and select retailers.
