Together, we find a way.

Our work to conserve Oklahoma's lands, waters and wildlife is made possible thanks to the generosity of nature-loving Oklahomans just like you. The Legacy Club recognizes donors who have included The Nature Conservancy in their estate plans, allowing us to plan ahead, work more efficiently at a larger scale and make a lasting impact for people and nature alike.

We recently had the privilege of welcoming a group of Legacy Club donors to Pearl Jackson Crosstimbers Preserve for an informative and engaging day of fun in the sun, including a guided hike with Preserve Manager Jeanine Lackey and lunch at preserve headquarters. Together, we explored the preserve's diverse terrain, consisting of vast swaths of dense forest, native prairie, creeks and limestone outcrops.

Legacy club members have made a lasting commitment by including The Nature Conservancy in their long-term financial planning. Thanks to these donors, we are able to plan for the future and take bold, decisive action in support of our great state’s natural lands and the biodiversity they support.

About Pearl Jackson Crosstimbers Preserve

Just 25 minutes from midtown Tulsa, the Pearl Jackson Crosstimbers Preserve in Creek County offers a rare and breathtaking glimpse into one of the least disturbed forest ecosystems in the eastern United States. Donated by Bob and Andie Jackson, this pristine landscape of ancient post and blackjack oaks, open tallgrass prairie and rich biodiversity—including bobcats, bobwhite quail and songbirds—has been carefully stewarded for decades. The preserve stands as a powerful testament to conservation, promising future opportunities for Oklahomans to connect with nature while protecting vital ecological resources for generations to come.

Make a difference for nature!
