About Climate Week NYC
Climate Week NYC brings together leaders from business, academia, government, civil society and the climate sector for the largest annual climate event of its kind—hosting hundreds of events and activities across New York City. Each year, these leaders and decision makers from around the world gather to drive and champion climate action.
From September 21–28, 2025, Climate Week NYC participants from across the globe will gather under this year’s theme, Power On, to spark progress and inspire change.
The Nature Conservancy is proud to be part of these vital conversations and events—sharing science, solutions and stories that illustrate how people and nature can thrive together in the face of climate change.

Title: Doubling Down on Nature
Description: The Nature Conservancy and Forest Trends’ recent report, Doubling Down on Nature: State of Investment in Nature-based Solutions for Water Security found investment in nature-based solutions for water security doubled over the past decade, reaching $49B in 2023. While this trend signifies growing confidence in nature-based solutions, the vast majority of investment—97 percent—comes from public funding sources, which have become increasingly unpredictable as government interests shift. The Nature Conservancy, together with The Coca-Cola Foundation, Shockwave Foundation, Autodesk Foundation, are hosting a close-door event designed to explore new strategies for filling a growing public funding gap in the water sector and ensure investment in nature-based solutions for water security continues to flow in the right direction.
