Volunteer Overview

Escape the hustle of the city and join fellow nature lovers for a morning at Foulweather Bluff Preserve. Along the way, you'll learn about opportunities to support conservation in Washington and stay engaged as a volunteer and advocate for nature.

Volunteers will walk out to the bluff, soak in the stunning coastal views and let the Pacific Northwest scenery inspire our inner artists with some casual painting and sketching. Afterward, we’ll spread out the blankets for a picnic to relax, chat and share our creations. Whether you're an experienced artist or just want to try something new, come enjoy good company, fresh air and creative vibes!

  • Art supplies such as watercolors, paper, markers, etc., will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own art supplies.
  • Participants should plan to bring their own lunch, snacks and blanket or towel for sitting.

This is a Nature Engagement Leader event! Nature Engagement Leaders are volunteers trained to lead events on behalf of The Nature Conservancy. Your Nature Engagement Leader for this event is Angie!
