Explore Mashomack’s marshes with our expert naturalists. You will learn about the ecology and biology of marshes and about what makes these systems so cool and interesting. Get up close to species including fish, crabs and clams. These programs are family-friendly. For more information about individual events, please visit the registration link provided below.

Muddling in the Marsh

Aug. 11 | 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Join us as we wade through the waters of Bass Creek and explore the shoreline of this vibrant tidal marsh. Along the way, we’ll discover fish, crabs, snails and many other animals that call the marsh home.

Come prepared to get wet, and wear shoes that can go in the water. Nets and buckets will be provided. Ages 4-7. A parent or guardian is required to remain with their child throughout the program.
