Event Overview

Meet at the Conservation and Education Center to enjoy a leisurely walk with naturalist and former Silver Creek Preserve Manager, Cindy Lunte! Learn about the plants, wildlife and the unique high desert spring creek ecosystem on the Silver Creek Preserve. Bring a sack lunch and continue the conversation at the Center after the hike is finished.

Registration is required and spots are limited for this free event.

Please note:

  • The terrain is uneven but not steeply sloped. 
  • Depending on the weather, the conditions could be muddy or dry.
  • Please wear walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
  • Please bring a water bottle and a sack lunch.
  • All ages are welcome. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
