Overview

Event Overview

Join The Nature Conservancy, the Missouri Department of Conservation, MU Extension and local conservation partners for a series of seed collection workshops. Learn how to identify plants by seed-head, how to collect seed from different families and meet other locals with similar interest in your community! Seeds gathered from each site will remain onsite to support the growth of native plants adapted to the local habitat.

For your comfort and safety, please wear closed-toe shoes and long sleeves. We’ll provide clippers, buckets and water, though bringing your own equipment is encouraged.
