Event Overview

We hope you’ll join us for an outdoor adventure on Saturday, October 5, at our Santa Fe Canyon Preserve. The chapter has completed accessibility improvements to ensure people of all kinds can enjoy this beautiful oasis, two miles from the city. Spending time outdoors makes you happier, healthier and more creative.

State Director Terry Sullivan and staff will lead guided hikes where you’ll learn about the preserve’s history, ecology and the animals who call it home. The tour includes presentations by Hawks Aloft and John Waconda, TNC in New Mexico’s Indigenous Partners Program Manager.

Light refreshments will be available.

Tours will take place at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. There is limited space.
