Winter Solstice Soirée

Come light up the night and celebrate the season with us!

Northern lights of green and purple shine over trees at night.
Heavenly fire 2 Heavenly fire 2 // Hoping to photograph the northern lights, I took a trip to Fairbanks, AK, in March of 2016.  While cloudy skies ruined a few nights of photography, the heavenly show dazzled us on several other occasions. On this particular night in the White Mountains recreation area, 2-1/2 hours north and west of Fairbanks, I was treated to the most spectacular display of northern lights I could ever imagine. © Dominique Braud/TNC Photo Contest 2022

Event Overview

After four years, we’re excited to announce that the Winter Solstice Soirée is back!

The winter solstice marks the shortest day of the year. Say farewell to the longest evening of darkness, and light up the night with The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire.

Join us on Thursday, December 21, at our offices located on the fourth floor of the Ralph Pill Marketplace at 22 Bridge Street in Concord, New Hampshire, for community building, light appetizers and fun.

Drop-in any time between 4 and 6 p.m. for drinks, light appetizers, live music and holiday cheer. After so many years apart, we’re thrilled to invite you to visit the office, celebrate partnership, mingle with other nature lovers and celebrate the season!

The evening is open-house style and free. This is a larger event in an indoor space. Masks are optional, but feel free to wear one if you wish! While not required, we welcome your RSVP. Please let us know you’re coming. We look forward to celebrating with you!
