Overview

Event Overview

Neighboring the hamlet of Tupper Lake, Follensby is a 14,600-acre property protected under The Nature Conservancy’s stewardship and easements held by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. This awe-inspiring landscape holds significant natural, cultural and scientific value, serving as an extraordinary example of what we can accomplish together.

Join us on a guided, mobility-friendly exploration of the unique ecosystems of the Follensby Research Preserve as we retell the stories that have shaped this beautiful landscape.

You will be able to pre-select the option to participate in a wetland walk or to pontoon. Each activity will be approximately 2 hours during the trip but can be adapted to support participant abilities.

Spots are limited. Register here.
