Creek Critter Adventure & Stream Stomping

Join The Nature Conservancy for Family Fun at Hamer Woodlands at Cove Mountain Preserve! Visitors are invited to explore the creek, discover fascinating aquatic critters, and learn about the life thriving in our local streams.

Children are encouraged to wear water shoes or footwear that can get wet, but getting in the water is completely optional!

For anyone who prefers to stay dry, staff will bring creek critters out of the water so everyone can observe and learn up close. This hands‑on program is perfect for curious kids and caregivers looking for a fun, educational summer morning in nature.
