Biography

As TNC’s General Counsel, Nathalie manages the Global Legal Team and the Enterprise Risk Teams (Ethics, Compliance, Privacy, Risk and Internal Audit) and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Throughout her 27-year career, Nathalie has held various executive leadership roles at publicly traded, privately held and private equity portfolio companies. She joined Fairway Group Holdings Corp. (d/b/a Fairway-Like No Other Market ®) in 2007 and was the senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Fairway. In that capacity, she led the company’s legal and risk management strategy, practices and policies and strategically positioned the company for going public in 2013 and through various transitions. She provided advice and strategic direction regarding the company’s compliance and regulatory matters, corporate governance, real estate, litigation, employment law, data security, finance, intellectual property and general corporate matters. She also led the company’s approach to sustainable environmental practices and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

Prior to joining Fairway, Nathalie was the vice president and associate general counsel of The Donna Karan Company LLC for eight years. Prior to that time, Nathalie was an associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in the firm’s international corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures practice areas. She began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Sterling Johnson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Nathalie is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard BlackLetter Law Journal and as a research assistant for South Africa’s Goldstone Commission. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College with a major in political science and a concentration in economics.
