Biography
As the Director of Conservation Partnerships for The Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific region, Laura Whitford leads a team responsible for cultivating public, corporate and civil society partnerships in support of TNC’s mission. She also manages TNC’s relationship with the Asian Development Bank.
Laura has worked in the Asia Pacific region for more than 15 years on partnerships, policies and programs focused on sustainable natural resource management, climate adaptation, equity and economic development. She has a master of environmental management and international development from the University of Melbourne; a graduate diploma in communication management from the University of Technology, Sydney; and a bachelor of science with first-class honours in psychology from the University of Sydney. Laura is based in Australia.
