Biography

Francisca is The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) Deputy Managing Director of our programs in Latin America (Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru). She has over 30 years of experience managing sustainable and innovative solutions in the public and private sectors. Francisca’s expertise includes investment projects in the extractive and renewables industry, natural resource management, environmental and social impact assessment, institutional relations, risk analysis, corporate sustainability strategies, sustainability balance scorecards, communications and stakeholder engagement.

She has generated close working relationships with relevant international organizations like the World Business Council, Global Compact and Carbon Disclosure Project, Forest Stewardship Council, ISO (International Organization for Standardization), OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series), Singularity University and many others, around sustainability and social innovation. Francisca is based in her home country Chile.
