Biography

Douglas B. Petno is the CEO of Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase, overseeing more than 9,000 professionals located in 120 locations across the U.S. and 19 major international cities. Petno has more than 25 years of experience at the firm, previously as global head of J.P. Morgan’s Natural Resources Investment Banking Group, where he oversaw client coverage for Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities, Chemicals, Metals and Mining, Building Products and Paper and Packaging. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for NatureVest at TNC. He also serves on the American Bankers Association Board of Directors and is actively engaged with the members on key issues facing the financial industry. Petno received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Wabash College and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business and was awarded its Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2013.
