Volunteer with Us

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Volunteers allow us to increase our effectiveness and complete more critically important work while developing lasting friendships. We also have a lot of fun!

    Ramsey Canyon Preserve (RCP) Greeter

    RCP has 25,000 annual visitors from all parts of the world. This position interacts with visitors on a regular basis and is above all else responsible for welcoming visitors and representing The Nature Conservancy in a positive and professional way.     Pollinator Garden Volunteer—Tucson

    Work with others to maintain the pollinator garden at the Tucson office. The garden supports the property’s sustainability features and honors the memory of a beloved staff member who was passionate about birds, butterflies and wildlife.     Lead visitors in small group settings on nature hikes on RCP's trails to help raise awareness of the importance of conservation, enlighten visitors about the beauty and value of the desert and highlight The Nature Conservancy's work.     Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve Visitor Center Host/Admin. Assistant

    Serve as visitor center host at the Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve and support the preserve manager with administrative tasks. Volunteers are asked to commit to a 5 hour shift the same day each week. Contact Dorothy at dboone@tnc.org for more information and to apply.

    Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve Special Volunteer Projects

    Looking for an occasional volunteer project that will make a positive environmental impact? There are upcoming special-project workdays at Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve.     Hart Prairie Preserve Stewardship Projects

    These projects may include invasive species control, piling slash for forest health fire risk reduction, infrastructure repairs and facilities upkeep, fence maintenance and assisting with firewood giveaway program.
