Visit a Preserve: Experience Nature with the Conservancy
Get out to the lands and waters you help us protect!
Find a nature preserve near you by using the controls on the upper left of the map to zoom (the + and - icons) and pan (the arrows) to the area you want to view. When you click on a balloon, you'll receive more information about the featured preserve.
Green balloons mark public preserves, while yellow balloons mark preserves that are closed to the public some or all of the time, normally due to the ecological sensitivity of the site. Silver balloons mark former preserves, which have since been turned over to a local, state or national park system.
If you would like to access our preserve data as a source for Google Maps, or as a layer for Google Earth, you can use our feed url — http://www.nature.org/placesweprotect/preserve-map.xml — directly in those applications.
