VOLUNTEER WITH THE NATURE CONSERVANCY IN WISCONSIN
We have volunteer opportunities in Madison and at project areas around Wisconsin.
The Nature Conservancy was built on the dedication of our members and volunteers. Today we still rely on the support of those who are interested in helping the environment and working with others who share their passion for nature. By contributing your time and skills, you will be making a huge difference on the natural communities we've vowed to protect and preserve. Join us and your fellow nature lovers for one our upcoming workdays.
BARABOO HILLS: SAUK COUNTY
Join other volunteers one Saturday each month at a preserve in the Baraboo Hills. Activities include controlling invasive plant species, maintaining hiking trails, tree planting, seed collection, tree monitoring and working on fire breaks. If you are interested in volunteering to help with land management, please contact our Door Peninsula office in Sturgeon Bay to be added to our email list for notification of land stewardship work parties, which are usually held every other Tuesday.
MUKWONAGO RIVER WATERSHED: WALWORTH/WAUKESHA COUNTIES

MILITARY RIDGE: DANE/IOWA COUNTIES
The Nature Conservancy is protecting hundreds of acres of critical habitat for grassland birds in this beautiful rolling landscape dotted with prairie and oak savanna remnants. Contact Jim Lesniak (608-576-3310) for more information on volunteering in Military Ridge.
