Know Your Volunteer

A folk dancer and a cappella singer, Jan Ketelle began caring for nature at an early age. Today she helps the Conservancy burn prairies, pull garlic mustard, survey for butterflies and much more. Read More

Volunteer Gary Gates learned about the benefits of controlled fire as a boy on his family's Dane County farm. Today he is one of the Conservancy's most dedicated prescribed fire volunteers. Read more
