Workdays

With thousands of acres of protected land to manage across the state, volunteers are needed to help our Habitat Management staff.  Participating in a volunteer workday is a satisfying and rewarding way to meet the staff and experience the places and species we protect in Pennsylvania.

Wednesday, November 19th – 9:00 AM
Weekly Workday in NEPA

Please join our Habitat Management Coordinator, Zach Goodrich, out in the field for various management and maintenance projects at sites across Northeastern Pennsylvania for the last of his weekly workdays for 2014. Trail Workday at the Woodbourne Forest & Wildlife Sanctuary

Please join the Woodbourne Stewardship Committee at the Conservancy’s oldest preserve in Pennsylvania to assist with completing a boardwalk structure for the trails.  Carpool arrangements from the Philadelphia area are available. Barrens Restoration at the Chrome Barrens Preserve

Please join the Friends of the State-Line Serpentine Barrens at the Chrome Barrens Preserve (Elk Township, PA in Chester County) to assist with restoring and maintaining the barrens grassland habitat.
